Suggestions:

1. Research how long it takes for materials such as
glass, aluminum, and rubber to naturally decompose
and see why it is important for us to recycle these
materials.

2. Raise funds for your society by recycling aluminum
cans and other recyclables.

3. Adopt a highway or river in your area as an ongoing
project and remember to properly recycle the trash you
pick up.

4. Tour a wast water or paper mill to see how this helps
the environment.
